Playgroups resume September 3, 2024.
As your child's first teacher, you might be overwhelmed with that title and the responsibilities that come with it. Let us show you how to guide your child's natural development with everyday simple activities.
In our Play Smart Playgroups, we will demonstrate ways you can nurture your child's cognitive and emergent literacy skills. We incorporate Montessori and Reggio values in every lesson and show ways of guiding your child in purposeful play while we encourage healthy social interactions among the little ones. Lessons and activities will emphasize practicing fine motor skills.
- Expect to spend at least an hour and a half for each Playgroup:

- 30 minute (music is 45 minutes) structured class where fine motor skills are practiced
- Playtime to encourage social interaction
- Snacks/Lunch eaten together as a class (please bring your own food)

You don't have to stay for the entire 1.5 hours, but we encourage you to stay for as much as possible because the free play and communal eating times are as important, if not more, than the structured class! But we know that naps are important, too!
