In our after school program, your child will receive personal attention from our instructors because each student learns at a different pace.
Our philosophy about how teaching should take place is based on Salman Khan's belief that the way students are taught in school should be "flipped." Teachers should be spending more one on one time with students as they work on their assignments, homework or problem sets because that's when students will have the most questions about concepts they're learning. NoVA PlayLabs offers a unique after school experience for your child. You can put together a program that suits your child's needs and interests. Upon arrival at our center, the students will have a snack to refuel the body and some downtime to refuel the mind. Homework is completed with the assistant of an instructor. We also help students prepare for quizzes and tests. Personalized tutoring is also offered, based on the needs of the students. After the academics are taken care of, students are free to take advantage of the wide variety of activities available in our beautiful and thoughtfully designed space.
