My name is Harsha and I work for AIESEC, a student run NGO! We bring interns from around the world, 126 countries overall, and we find them summer internships with summer camps in the DMV area.
Our mission is to bring cross-cultural exchange for the students and interns through creative and impactful internships with summer programs. We work with the camp to find a project for the interns to work on over the summer. A camp usually takes 6-12 many as you would like (many take up to 12). Through the program they usually stay for 6 weeks. Each intern is $250, 6 interns would be $1500, 12 is $2400.
We offer a database of very qualified candidates from various backgrounds and talents, and you can specify what background the intern will have. They are students from around the world who speak fluent English and are in undergraduate or graduate programs. Through our partnership with the State Department, we handle all of the visa processing.
An intern can do multiple things and help the camp as much as you would like them to. We just ask that they do not work more than 35 hours a week.
