I am writing to you on behalf of my team and I from New Life Christian Church located in Chantilly, Virginia. New Life will be sending teams on two very important mission trips in 2019.
The first is a trip to rural Kentucky where our team works closely with a local community, many of whom are impoverished. We help to rebuild broken down homes and connect with the local community members. Last year, our team was over 100 people strong, including adults, youth and families.
We also have the distinct honor of partnering closely with Compassion International to conduct a mission trip to a small village in Ecuador each year. While on the trip, we work very closely with the local families who have children that are served by the Children’s Center which is run by Compassion International, whose main goal is to free children around the world from poverty. The children’s center provides tutoring, medical care and life skills training to over 150 children and mothers.
In order to help pay for our mission trips this year (which will total close to $120,000) we will be holding a silent auction on May 5, 2019. We are a registered 501(c)(3) organization (tax ID number 54-1654905).
We would be very grateful if you would consider donating an in-kind donation of a gift certificate or other items to our silent auction. We will include your logo in all of our advertising for the event and at the event itself. All donations can be sent to my attention at 5111 Pheasant Ridge Road, Fairfax, VA 22030.
