Hi,

M son Charlie started the summer camp for the first time yesterday and had a great time! Thank you! It really looks like a great program. I noticed yesterday and again today when I dropped him off (around 8:50 on Monday and 9:05 today) that Mercedes has been the only adult/employee on-site. Given the number of kids on-site (initially about 15 kids when I first got there and almost 25 by the time I left) I decided to stay just to be an extra person in the event of an emergency, etc. Today, it was almost 9:15 before any additional staff members arrived. Is it possible to have another person on-site earlier (maybe at 8:30/8:45)? Seems like a lot for one person to handle given all the activity and potential risk so early in the morning (i.e. cleaning, trying to watch kids in the back while also attending to the front, kids seem to be all over the place (classrooms, play area, gym, locker room, etc.) It would be very difficult to ensure a kids does not walk out of the building or worse yet…someone come in a grab a kid. There is also the concern with how one person who manage all those kids should someone get seriously hurt and need medical attention. Finally, I want to compliment Mercedes. She is such a positive and hardworking employee who manages to juggle so many responsibilities seamlessly.

Thank you for considering and hopefully addressing my concerns.

Feel free to call my cell (703-943-8287) should you have questions or need additional information.
