The James Madison Athletic Booster Club is pleased to announce that our annual Casino Night and Silent Auction will be held on March 10, 2017 at the Crowne Plaza Tysons in McLean, Virginia.
Over 1,200 students participate in sports at James Madison and the Athletic Booster Club funds 50 percent of the athletic budget to provide all sports teams with the equipment they need to be successful. Athletic Boosters also supports the majority of capital improvements at the school. This year our fundraising efforts will be focused on replacing the turf field in our stadium and commencing a long-term effort to install turf on a second field. Our fields are used by every student at Madison as well as many community groups so the impact of this fundraising effort is far-reaching.
The purpose of this letter is to respectfully request a donation of a product, service or monetary contribution that we can use in our silent auction. If you choose to donate to this event, your organization’s name will be prominently displayed at the event site, listed in the auction program, and will also be listed in an email that will go out to every athlete’s family. This is a great way to promote and advertise your business and display community support and involvement in local schools. We are 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization, and any donation you make to this event is tax deductible (TAX ID No.: 54-1563564).
